*Update* 4/29/08
Crisis Core Aerith update! This will be my next cosplay and is the combined efforts of me and my dear friend, Yuna. She is making the skirt and I am making the top. I purchased two tank tops from Wal-Mart along with flower patterns. Below is a reference shot from the PSP game Crisis Core (which I smoked) and progess shots of the costume. Click the cosplay shots for bigger versions. Everything should be done sometime soon! Yay!

Cosplay (コスプレ kosupure?), short for "costume play",[1] is a Japanese subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, and video games. However, in some circles, "cosplay" has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume.- Wikipedia.org

Hola I'm Lola and welcome to my cosplay site! Here you will find pictures of all of my costumes along with reference shots, character bios, information on the costume, photos from conventions and more!
I've been cosplaying since 2006 and I do not make my own costumes nor do I take credit for it; I give credit to the amazing people who have made these creations. I personally wasn't blessed with the talent to create clothes but in some cases, I do make alterations to costumes and you will find that information in the appropriate gallery.
I feel that if you have limited sewing ability (like me) it shouldn't stop you from the joys of cosplay. I don't do it for attention or to gain any internet fame; I do it because it's fun (who doesn't like dressing up?). Also my friend and I have a great time taking photos; he enjoys the art of photography.
Cosplay is the highest form of expressing your love and appreciation for your favorite characters. I appreciate you taking the time to visit my site. Thank you!
xoxo
